This privacy policy applies to the mobile game Frequency (the “App”), published by
Glenn Meelnhorst for Drop tail Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) on Google Play.
We have written this policy to be as short and plain as the App’s behaviour allows,
because the honest summary is very short.
## Summary
Frequency does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
The App works entirely offline. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics,
no third-party SDKs, no in-app purchases, and no internet permission. Nothing you do in
the App leaves your device.
## Information we collect
None.
We do not collect any personal information, including (but not limited to): your name,
email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, files, microphone or
camera input, location, device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP address, or usage
analytics.
The App does not request any Android permissions.
## Information stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, the App saves a small progress file in its own
private storage area on your device. That file contains only:
– Which levels you have completed
– Your best completion time for each level
– Whether sound is switched on or off
– Whether you have already seen the “How to Play” screen
This data never leaves your device. It is not readable by us or by any other app. It is
deleted when you uninstall the App, and you can clear it at any time from within the
game using the Wipe Progress option, or through Android’s
Settings → Apps → Frequency → Storage → Clear data.
## Third parties
The App contains no third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, crash
reporting services, social network integrations, or other third-party SDKs. We do not
share data with anyone, because we do not have any of your data to share.
Note that the App is distributed through Google Play. Google may collect information
relating to your download and use of apps under its own terms. That collection is
governed by Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), not by this
one.
## Children’s privacy
Frequency is suitable for all ages and contains no data collection, advertising, or
external links. Because we collect no information from anybody, we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in
your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal
information, please contact us at the address below.
## Your rights
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access,
correct, export, or delete on request. Data protection rights under laws such as the
GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California) — including the right to access, delete, or opt out
of the sale of personal information — are satisfied by the fact that no personal
information is collected, processed, or sold. We do not sell or share personal
information for advertising purposes.
The progress file described above is under your own control on your own device.
## Security
Because no data is transmitted or stored on any server we operate, there is no
transmission or server storage to secure. Your on-device progress file is protected by
Android’s standard app sandboxing.
## Changes to this policy
If a future version of the App adds any feature that collects or transmits data (for
example, online leaderboards, advertising, or analytics), we will update this policy
before or at the time that version is released, change the “Last updated” date above,
and, where required, ask for your consent within the App.
